To replace a sensor, remove the screw holding the sensor plate in place (See Figure 32).

Lift the sensor plate and carefully unplug the sensor to be replaced at the back of the sensor. Lift the connector tab to remove-do not pull on the wires (See Figure 33).
The sensors are threaded into the sensor plate. Remove the sensor by turning it counterclockwise (See Figure 34).
Install the new sensor by threading it into the plate. Finger tight is fine; do not over tighten. The front edge of the sensor should protrude slightly past the surface of the sensor plate (See Figure 35). This is intentional and encourages any water condensation on the sensor plate to drip off instead of easily running into the sensors.
Plug the wiring harness into the sensor verifying the sensor position number on the sensor plate corresponds to the correct wire at the connector block.
Finally, reinstall the sensor plate with the sensor plate screw.
Once the sensor is installed, perform an oxygen flush and calibration (See the Oxygen Sensor Calibration section). Verify that the sensor is reading correctly before diving.
